Spring in Philly 2000
Holy shit its been a long time since I updated my page. I am so damn lazy. I’m lazier than lazy. I’m like a rug on Valium. At least in terms of updating my webpage. Funny how I am usually not more than 10 feet away from my computer, and so frequently, less than 10 inches, but I never bother to give the news.
Lets recap the past 3 months real quick. December was cool, took my finals and went home for a much needed vacation. Made the deans list, lost some weight, partied at new years blah blah blah. January was so fucking cold here in Phila. Not much else to say about that month, pretty standard really. February is almost over. As usual, Valentines Days passed me by with little recognition from the opposite sex, save my mum. Oh well, not my top concern. Jimmy is moving out on March 1. Aww Yea!!! I joined the Rugby team. We play Princeton on Saturday the 26. Its some fun shit, everyone on the team are big ass Irish goons who like to drink beer. But then again, its Rugby, played by crazy Europeans and Aussies who were derived from crazy Europeans. Things are looking up. I got a harmonica, and am learning to play it at a fair pace. I have gotten pretty good with the recorder since my humble beginnings last august, only 6 months ago. I am currently able to play a shitload of songs I have leaned from midi, such as the entire score from Sonic the Hedgehog I. Got a buncha new Midis, ask me about them.
Spring has spring in the city of Brotherly Love. Its been like 60 degrees for a few days now, almost a shame that I have to come home and sleep everyday after class. Cant help it that I am narcoleptic, I need my sleep, especially with my new-found addiction to Frasier. Hopefully, once the daylight gets longer and Rugby becomes routine I will get out more. Either way is good.
Rest in Peace Dr. Robert Quinn and Charles Shultz… did I spell that right? Quinn was one of my professors in case you were wondering.
