A Crowded Cryan’s

The night everyone in the world showed up. I mean everyone. People who were underage, people I haven’t seen since the Reagan administration, and Coach Brothers. In fact, there were too many people there. Far too many.It is always pleasant to see some of the folks from High School, friends you’ve lost track of, people you never hung out with, but should have. But while it is pleasant to see them, it is equally awkward to see the rest.

At Karen’s house

And after dinner, to Karen’s house for a meeting of sorts, and just an all-purpose party for the Undergroundlings. Dig that hi-tech foosball table.

Pa’ Lante Dinner

I think the average person is bad at taking photos, but they are plain horrid at using my cameras. These two remarkably tragic shots are of the Delta Chapter of La Unidad Latina, Lambda Upsilon Lambda Fraternity, Inc.

The Pa’Lante Thanksgiving Dinner is an annual tradition and its a time for all the Hermanos to come together and just enjoy good food, for no apparent reason. We put a lot of hard work into this damn dinner, and barely got to eat, but that’s life for a bro, I guess.

Chili’s for Dinner

Just a night out with Julio, Jose, and Kelly. Nothing of great consequence, but there was the event of that dodgy guy who stashed a knife in the planter before entering that hole-in-the-wall club behind Chili’s at 38th and Chestnut. I suppose the club is equally as dodgy as the man.

José stole the knife after the guy went in. Sucker.

All’s Well That Ends Well

The Underground Shakespeare Company’s Fall 02 Main production, All’s Well That Ends Well, directed by Rebecca Judelson.

Having voluntarily sat this one out, I was pleasantly surprised with the outcome, considering a lot of charter members, and better actors than myself also decided to sit this one out – stupid grad school applications.

Afterwards, to Serena’s cramped flat in Center City for some Strip Never-Have-I-Ever. I believe there was drinking and stripping involved although I can’t quite recall the rules. Basically everyone got drunk and half the people were also in their underwear. I, however, remained rather clothed and fully sober throughout the night. Therefore, I won. Or maybe I lost. Not sure.

HBA Dinner with Bros

At the Hispanic Bar Association Dinner, in support of our brother Freddy and his ongoing excellence in the field of boring lawyer stuff. While I don’t have any photos, I should make a note to remember the comedian who amused the audience with his tales of one-night stands and adventures in ghetto homes over the ages. Last minute thing I guess. Anyway, I found it funny.

Halloween 3/3

Halloween part 3/3 – this one at Drexel with the rugby guys. Crammed into that smelly basement for the millionth time, only this time around, everyone has a costume. Gotta love Kwas with those high high shorts, and that jerk who dressed up like the Oompa Loompa.

Halloween 2/3

Halloween Part 2/3, this one at New Brunswick. No particular highlights of this evening, except spending it with the fellas.
