Happy Birthday Liz!
Her Majesty’s a pretty nice girl but she doesn’t have a lot to say…

Queen Elizabeth II turns 80 today and brings smiles to millions of faces around the world from New Zealand to Canada.
Not much else to say about it except…

The Queen was Fit back in the day!
The BBC have plenty of coverage and photos of all the fesivities.
…one day I’m gonna make her mine

The News?
OK, so I live in New Jersey and watch the news broadcast from the New York stations. New York City is a pretty big city, right. There is a lot going on, lots of news, lots of stories.
And yet I turn on the 11 o’clock “News” and this is what I see…
An unusual rescue attempt resumed today in Greenwich Village. It involves a kitten named Molly who has been trapped inside a deli wall for nearly two weeks. The rescue is harder than you think…Everybody is hoping that day 13 is Molly’s lucky day. She’s still stuck in the wall and rescuers are still there with engineers from the city’s building department who have given permission to take out a few more bricks, hoping that Molly will have her grand entrance…
Now, I love pets as much as the next guy, but this one of the biggest and most exciting cities on the planet, and the news is covering kitty rescues! WTF!
I’d expect this kind of crap from FOX, but ABC is usually pretty viable for their nightly news. And for having for having the sassy Liz Cho (fan site).

swingeo ergo sum
As part of the promotion for USA Network‘s promotion, Show Us Your Character, I spent the past three days swing dancing on the streets of Philadelphia.
So with my partner, Aubrey O’Hara, we slugged it out in the rain and wind and sun and heat and by Friday night, we were plenty exhausted. Still, a time worth remembering (because I am not doing this shit again!)
