Adventures in Brooklyn
Joaquin called me up today and invited me to a BBQ in Bedford Stuyvesant, a neighborhood in Brooklyn. Since it was his birthday, and a nice day, and summer, and I haven’t seen him in a while, I naturally accepted the invite. Getting there, of course, would be the adventure.
After taking the J to the A and making a bit of a circuit around northern Brooklyn, I arrived. After meeting new faces, and greeting old ones, the day proceeded as normal. Hot dogs, and regular dogs (the pet kind), and chicken and ice cream and good music.
