Digital Life

I stepped out for a day of amusement at the Javitz Center for the Digital Life expo — which is pretty much the video game show.

Here are some random observationings from the show floor. I wish I could have stayed longer and play Guitar Hero until I actually got good — or at least respectable. Man, I suck.

KT rocks

Bonetti and I ventured out to The Fillmore at Irving Plaza to see KT Tunstall rock it out. I had no idea that old theatre had such great acoustics! And KT sounded great. Very clear, clean and energetic. If you have the chance, go see her live.

Somewhere in the East Village

I found myself tonight at some bar in the East Village. That happens from time to time.

This time around it was to celebrate the birthday of my once co-worker Juleah and maybe to meet some new people. For whatever reason, mainly because the joint was loud and dark and filled with people who are way cooler than us, the night was rather awkward. Still, nice to get out of the house for a while.

Nerd of the Week

At least one of them…

This took forever to come out, but it was filmed on 20 July 2007, while we were queueing for the Dealthy Hallows.

The Last BBQ

I swear we’ve been here before. Probably because we have.

The final BBQ of the Summer of 2007 took place on Labor Day, in Scott Richardson’s backyard. The old gang turned up for a low-key eat session. This is what I miss about Summers.

Pio Pio

Here we are, a long way from home (the Upper East Side) out for dinner and lovely little (and I mean little!) Peruvian spot called Pio Pio.

The most notable thing about Pio Pio is that they only serve a limited number of side dishes to go with their sole main dish — chicken! So if you’re hungry, head up to 1st Ave with some friends, and fill yourself up with chicken. Bitch.

Happy birthday Lourdes.
