Mischa and took the short walk right here in Williamsburg to see one her favourite bands, Tokyo Police Club. I left early, but not before taking a few photos.
I think the highlight of the night was the opening act, Smoosh. Those girls can rock.
My Internet buddy Cali Lewis was in New York for the first time! She was hosting some awards ceremony, but before that she and Neal organised an impromptu meetup at the Apple Store on 5th Ave. So pretending to be tourists for a few minutes, we explored the Apple Store and then wandered to the Sony Pavilion and chatted for a bit.
So we all know this guy Keith Malley, but you may not know is that he only performs once a year, on his birthday. And so we all scrambled to the Village Underground, in the West Village for an evening of inside-joke comedy and live-band karaoke. Awesome.

Brother Love rocks, what can I say. We see him perform pretty frequently, but it’s always better when folks are in from out-of-town, as was the case in these photos. They’re in town for Keith’s stand-up show which he performs on his birthday, or rather, tomorrow. Tonight, we saw BroLo perform at Arlene’s Grocery in the LES, and then we meandered around the East Village for a bit. Stayed up way too late.
And Mischa finally got to meet some of the KATG folks. Not Keith, unfortunately.
At the Art Director’s Club for the something called Disclosure. Basically, an excuse to meet up and drink. Something to do with design as well.
