On Halloween proper, I found myself in Midtown, goofing around with the New York Rugby Team, both men and women. Unfortunately, after a while this became just another night at the bar.

The first night of Halloween finds us at Cotton’s house, right here in Jersey City. The old gang from high school appeared, and so did a few improvised costumes, including my own. Pleasantly absent were slutty costumes worn by giggly girls who are trying way too hard.

With Mike walking along the Jersey City waterfront. Exploring a bit between the high-rise apartment buildings and landscaped pedestrian areas overlooking Manhattan.

On a clear day you can see for miles.

Home for a night to celebrate the 60th anniversary of my mother’s birth. Characters from her past were in affect, including my grandparents, her childhood friends, her college roommate, and family friends of various sorts. A lighthearted night, pleasantness all around.

Craig & Lisa, fresh from their move to New York, entertain me in their Chelsea lobby and elevator. Or as they call it, a lift. They don’t miss London yet, but they haven’t experienced a real winter yet either.

Or rather, Leah drinks hot chocolate. Not a bad way to spend a Sunday afternoon.
