In New York for long-overdue meeting with my long-time design hero, and current client, Sally Hogshead. The setting is Le Parker Meridien hotel in midtown, which is jammed with quirky architectural bits and bobs. Pictured here, random cathedral arches.

The feline alarm clock never fails. Although I have to admit, Ninja was better at waking me up. She'd proceed to lick my fingers, and the bits in between, until I would awake and feed her. She was determined.
The backstory for this photo is quite endearing, actually. You see, Prudence is still in her first year and thus is always hungry. Not to be the villain, but I try to limit her meals to actual mealtimes, and not let her snack away all day. Recently, I spotted her on top of the fridge, poking around for food. She jumped first on the table, then onto the microwave, and then onto the fridge. You see, that's where I had been storing the dry food which I give her as a treat.

Because it's proper English, basically. You don't often see full sentences for something as straightforward as what days a shop is closed (in this case, Sunday). Usually, you'd simply see "Closed Sunday", but those cheeky Chinese sweat the details.
